MAMA ST. MARY FOUNDATION
Eligibility Criteria

Must be an active member of a local Cherubim and Seraphim, St. Mary’s Church District. Status must be confirmed by the local Church leader.

Must have finished high school and gained admission to an institution of higher learning in a Nigerian school or must already be in an institution of higher learning in a Nigerian school. The school may be a technical college, Polytechnic, or University.

Applicants for the award must have demonstrated financial need. Financial need will be self-reported by the student and confirmed by the local church leader. (Local church leader’s signature on the student’s application will be accepted as confirmation of student’s claim).

Applicants for the scholarship will be expected to write and submit an essay on a topic to be decided by the Foundation.

Cannot be a sibling of a prior scholarship winner.
Interested applicants should contact the sole administrator of the C&S St. Mary’s Church District through their local church leader for application.
Applications will open for one month from September 1 through September 30, 2024.
Completed application forms and essays should be received by the Foundation on or before October 30, 2024.
Applicants will be notified of the outcome in November 2024.
Award will be announced and presented to coincide with the yearly memorial service for Late Mama St. Mary, Sp/M/I (Dr.) Adeline Omolade Orepo (JP) in December 2024.
Scholarship Recipients
Thanks to the generous contributions from our benefactors, we have been able to award scholarships to eight Nigerian students. These scholarships have afforded them the opportunity to continue their higher education and cover essential expenses, including textbooks and other necessities.
